Headlining Luxury, Charm, and Grandeur in A Wine Cellar
Nicco’s interiors showcase exquisite terrazzo tiles and custom rugs complemented by accents of stone, brass, and wood, crafting a contemporary style that is truly distinctive. As an authentic steakhouse offering market-fresh seafood and excellent quality meats, every aspect of the restaurant exudes a vibrant, yet cozy atmosphere designed to captivate all senses.
Handpicked by executive chefs and restaurateurs, Nicco’s menu boasts a wealth of fresh farm ingredients and meticulously sourced meat.
Our vision for the wine room was to match the grandeur of the restaurant itself—a commercial wine cellar that delights the senses and ensures wines are served impeccably fresh.

A Grand Reception Using Massive Gold-Plated Doors
While many commercial wine stores and restaurants opt for the transparency of an all-glass wine closet, Nicco’s wine cellar takes a unique approach with solid walls on three sides and a colossal glass wine cellar door on the fourth. Passersby catch glimpses of the cellar through this gigantic, framed glass door, and stepping inside reveals a spacious area where guests can leisurely explore the collection up close.
In keeping with the opulent theme seen throughout the restaurant, the team adorned the exterior walls with elegant gold plating. The custom-made glass door also features gold-plated framing and handles, ensuring a luxurious touch with every use. The door’s substantial weight and precise fit provide a reassuring seal to ensure the room’s cool temperature is kept at a constant level.
While frameless glass cellar doors embody a sleek modern aesthetic, adding framing to large glass doors like Nicco’s further enhances durability and reinforces the dual-paned tempered glass structure.
Deluxe Custom Restaurant Wine Cellar Racks
Upon entering the cellar, customers are greeted by a stunning sight: meticulously crafted white oak wine racks stretching from left to right, reaching a towering height of 15 feet. To evoke a timeless elegance, we chose to stain the wood with a rustic hue, blending tradition with sophistication. These floor-to-ceiling racks are not just decorative but functional, capable of accommodating approximately 4,000 wine bottles.
To ensure accessibility to every bottle, the team installed custom rolling ladders on both sides of the cellar, allowing easy navigation of the topmost rows. The cellar’s design features a variety of racking styles tailored to different storage needs: spacious crate and wine box storage at the bottom for versatile bottle placement, and single-deep standard 750 racks at the top for organized display.
A distinctive touch lies at the mid-section where drawers and a reveal row showcase bottles at a 45-degree angle, subtly illuminated by concealed LED lights behind a custom light valance. This setup not only enhances visibility but also adds a touch of sophistication to the cellar’s ambiance, inviting customers to explore and appreciate the curated wine selection.
Two Zones in One Wine Room
What leaves customers more surprised is that there’s a secret in this custom-made wine room. Nicco’s restaurant wine cellar isn’t just one cellar, but it has two distinct zones! Experienced wine cellar designers and wine enthusiasts like us understand the importance of maintaining different optimal conditions for various types of wines. Reds, for instance, thrive at a slightly higher temperature than whites.
To cater to these preferences, Nicco’s features two zones separated by a striking frameless glass door. Zone 1, immediately after the main cellar door, maintains a cool 55 degrees Fahrenheit. In Zone 2, dedicated to whites such as champagne and sauvignon blancs, temperature is meticulously controlled between 40-45 degrees Fahrenheit.
Both zones boast ceiling-height custom wine racks designed to accommodate a variety of storage needs, including specialized metal horizontal racks for optimal bottle presentation.
With this dual-zone setup, Nicco’s guarantees that every wine type is stored under ideal conditions, ensuring each bottle is served at its peak quality and flavor profile.
